- Everything but the heat source. Many customers are curious about how much space is taken up by the mechanical components. Of course, it depends on the size of the system, but as an example, this system contains a (2) zone manifold (supply and return side) with pumps, an Expansion and Purge Kit, a wall mounted slab manifold, a heat exchanger, and the zone control kit. Everything fits in a 4′ X 5′ area and is completely hidden from view behind a removable access panel.
